School Operations Starter Pack

You don't need to hire a consultancy to ship the boring 80% of school automation. You need a sane starting point.

This pack is the same starter I deploy on day one of every school engagement. After six different schools, I've stopped rebuilding it — I clone, configure, hand over.

What's inside

The pack ships as a zip plus a Google Drive link. You'll get:

• The Sheet — pre-populated with sample data so you can see what good looks like before you connect your own.
• Four Apps Scripts with the variable names already lined up to the sheet columns. The longest is 80 lines. All four together are smaller than this product page.
• The WhatsApp message templates, written for parents in plain Indian English, ready to paste into Meta's template approval queue.
• A 20-minute Loom of me walking through the entire setup, including the parts where things usually break (template rejection, trigger timeouts, Phone Number ID confusion).

What it does, concretely

After ~90 minutes of setup, you'll have:

1. A morning trigger that pulls today's attendance and WhatsApps every absent student's parent by 9:30 AM.
2. A weekly trigger that emails parents whose fees are due in the next 7 days, with a payment link.
3. A monthly trigger that generates a clean MIS report for the principal — one PDF per class with attendance, fee status, and outstanding-dues totals.
4. A manual-trigger broadcast tool for when you want to push a notice to all parents at once (closure due to weather, exam schedule, etc.).

Who it's for

• School principals and admin heads who keep getting quoted ₹2L+ for what feels like it should be a Saturday afternoon's work.
• School IT coordinators asked to "do something with AI" who want a concrete starting point.

What it's not

• Not a polished SaaS product. It's an honest set of scripts you'll own and modify.
• Not for schools that don't yet have attendance digitized. You need a spreadsheet-shaped starting point before any of this helps.
• Not lifetime support. Email me anything for 30 days; after that you're on your own (which is fine, because by then you'll know how it works).
